Petit French Rolls Crispy Crust, Light & Fluffy Inside




Bread or all purpose flour 300g

Sugar 16g

Dry yeast 7g

Water 80ml

Milk  120ml

butter 24g (room temperature)


Preparation & Cooking Method:


  • Combine flour & salt, keep aside
  • Next combine wet ingredients together warm milk, water, sugar & yeast. Keep 5 to 10 minutes for the yeast to activate! It will rise and become frothy/bubbly
  • Later add the yeast mixture to the dry and knead for 10 minutes
  • Next add the butter and knead for another 5 minutes
  • Make the dough into a round shape and leave it to rise for 1 hour or so at a warm place!
  • Later degas the dough and divide them into equal size balls & cover them with a wet cloth for 15 minutes
  • Deflate the dough slightly & round each dough again & line them up on a baking sheet and keep to rise for another 30 to 40 minutes

  • Dust the dough with flour & slash the top with one cut & add 2g on butter on top

  • Bake for 13 to 15 minutes at 180 Degrees C  
  • Leave to cool, ready to eat. Enjoy!
